serves on many committees on the Illinois State Board of Education, cooperating
agencies in the fields of health, safety, environmental concerns, juvenile
protection, cultural arts, community outreach and other governmental
bodies. The Illinois PTA has a
membership of 200,000 members and is a strong voice for the advocacy of
children and youth in our state.

School PTA is a part of District 37, which is that portion of

of the Northwest Suburban Council (NWSC)
of PTAs. NWSC consists of 20 local PTA/PTSA member units, one
representing each of the Community Consolidated School District 15 schools. The
council is a coordinating body which promotes communication and cooperation
among member units and increases capacity for service requests because of our
united strength.
