I am Abby Rosensweig. My husband, Clark, and I have two sons: Wyatt (current 1 st grader) and Murray (current 2-year-old). I grew up in a small town in Connecticut and lived several places (Tennessee, Bulgaria, and Texas) before settling in Evanston in 2017. We love living in Evanston because it seems like there’s always something family- friendly going on and we always see people we know at those fun events around town.
Professionally, I work at Northwestern’s Evanston campus in IT support for the university’s learning management system. Basically, I help people navigate complex systems, which is similar to what I did in my previous career in undergraduate admissions and college counseling.
I am honored to be joining the Lincoln PTA board as co-president. I served as a room parent last year, helped bring PTA presence to the Open House programs in the spring, and have volunteered at a number of PTA events over the last two years. I want the family of every Lincoln student to feel welcome in our PTA community and for all students, teachers, and staff to feel supported by the PTA’s efforts. Our school is a special part of Evanston and I look forward to working with all Lincoln families in service of great educational and community experiences for our children.
My name is Tanya Bouley. My husband, Joe, and I have twin boys, Adrian and Gabriel, who are rising first graders at Lincoln. I was born and raised in the Philippines, finished high school in Texas, went to college in Canada, and ended up in Chicago for law school. Joe and I lived in Chicago for about eight years and moved to Evanston in April of 2021, days before our boys' first birthday.
Professionally, I am an attorney and have spent the better part of the last decade defending government agencies in civil litigation. In my previous life, I was a neuroscience nerd, and I still very much love all things STEM.
I served as a room parent during my kids' first year at Lincoln. I look forward to joining Lincoln's PTA board because my family loves the neighborhood and the strong sense of community it offers. I would love to be actively involved in creating a supportive, engaging environment where all Lincoln students can not only thrive academically, but also have access to meaningful enrichment experiences that support their overall development.
